Job Description | Android Tech Lead
Duties
- Responsible for developing the mobile applications and Android products for Swiftlane, which involves software programming, technical evaluations, product design and brainstorming.
- Writing the product and technical specifications and design requirement documentation and communicating with the design team.
- Implementing in-app reviews and support functionalities, as well as keeping up to date on technological developments within the Android application in Google Play.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Security, or related academic field.
- 2 years of experience in job offered, android engineering, or related.
- Any amount of experience in the additional requirements section below will be acceptable unless specific amount is noted.
Additional requirements:
Prior academic background or work experience to include:
- Experience maintaining a huge codebase, modifying apps to follow Google Play distribution requirements;
- Experience with audio/video calls based on WebRTC;
- Experience with Google Play app release management;
- Experience reading crash reports, and code coverage with logs to analyze/detect production issues;
- Experience with data transferring via Bluetooth Low Energy;
- Experience with Android Camera API;
- Experience with app multithreading, recurring jobs management;
- Experience with Kotlin and Java;
- Experience in SQL analyzing and debugging, writing complex queries.
