How They Work

Igloohome smart locks stay synched to Swiftlane’s cloud-based backend servers every time a Bluetooth smartphone with the Swiftlane app comes near the device. Residents or office and property managers can update PINs, provide remote access, check entry logs and more by logging into the Swiftlane platform or using the Swiftlane app. An optional Wi-Fi Bridge from Igloohome can keep the smart locks synched with the app and backend server through a continuous Internet connection.

Deadbolt 2E – Traditional Deadbolt Smart Lock

The Deadbolt 2E is a smart lock from igloohome that works in typical borehole deadbolt sockets (see below for igloohome’s option for mortise-style doors). You can use time-limited PIN codes and Bluetooth keys for entry with the Deadbolt 2E. Control everything conveniently from the Swiftlane app.

Building property managers can also control the deadbolt from the same centralized server they use to manage their Swiftlane intercoms. This makes it easy to add or remove tenants, permit entry to empty units for real estate agents, or let the super in for repairs.

The Igloohome Lever Mortise is our smart lock option for doors with a mortise cutout in the doorframe – a combined door handle lever and deadbolt in one piece of hardware. The Mortise Lever Lock features a deadbolt keypad and door handle lever, all in one sleekly designed unit.

Like the Deadbolt 2E, the Mortise Lever Lock lets you unlock the apartment, condo, or office unit door with PIN codes or via the Swiftlane mobile app. The door lock syncs with our server via Bluetooth whenever a smartphone with the Swiftlane app is near the door. For providing guest access, PIN codes can be shared via iMessage, WhatsApp, SMS and more.

Padlock 2E

Igloohome’s Padlock 2E is a standalone smart padlock device perfect for securing spaces like personal storage units and containers, tool sheds, overhead doors, or utility lockers. The CEN-3 (EN12320) rated 9mm boron steel shackle provides a robust layer of security. It has earned an IK09 anti-vandalism rating. Like other Igloohome smart locks for apartment and office doors, the Padlock 2E works with PIN codes and digital keys via Bluetooth that can be programmed on the Swiftlane app.

The internal battery is easily charged using a standard USB-C cable (included).

Keybox 3E

To secure traditional metal keys as a backup, Igloohome offers the Keybox 3E smart key box. It can store metal keys, key fobs and other physical access devices. It can be opened with both Bluetooth keys and PIN codes and shackled to door knobs and handles or mounted on the wall.

Made of zinc and aluminum alloy with a hardened steel shackle, the key box is hardened for outdoor usage in all weather conditions with an IP66 dust and water resistance rating.

The Keybox 3E runs on four replaceable AAA batteries and can use a USB-C charging cable for backup jumpstarts.
